PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union gives love through the project "Red Scarf House"

Carrying out the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement, practically organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and towards welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai has coordinated with the Council of the Young Pioneers of Quang Ngai City to carry out the youth project "Red Scarf House". The family of Nguyen Ngoc Bao Tram - a student of class 4C, Nghia Dong Primary School, is a near-poor household in Nghia Dong commune. Born into poverty, her father died early, her mother worked as a worker with a meager salary to raise two young siblings, the life of Bao Tram and her family was extremely difficult and struggling. The old house was already dilapidated, dilapidated and no longer safe from the sun and rain, forcing the whole family to live temporarily in a cramped rented room.

Understanding the simple dream of a solid roof of the little girl, at the same time responding to the national campaign to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, at the 36th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in Quang Ngai city, PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union in coordination with the Quang Ngai City Youth Union Council presented funding to build the "Red Scarf House" for Bao Tram's family worth 30 million VND. With this funding and the support of the local government of Nghia Dong commune, the family joined hands to build a new home for her. Not only is it a source of funding, the project is also a connection of hundreds of loving hearts: the working days of union members, the contributions of soldiers of the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard and the consensus of the local government. After two months of construction with many difficulties due to the weather and determination to meet the delivery schedule on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, the small house is now completed, spacious, filled with laughter and hope.

On April 25, 2025, PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union coordinated with Quang Ngai City Youth Union and the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Nghia Dong Commune to organize a handover ceremony for the construction of a new house for Bao Tram's family. The handover ceremony was held in a warm, emotional atmosphere, full of affection. The "Red Scarf House" is not only a material gift, but also a fire that warms the heart, adds faith and determination to those who still have many difficulties. This activity once again affirms the strength of solidarity, solidarity, and is a beautiful symbol of the eternal spirit of "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people, as beloved Uncle Ho advised: "Unity, unity, great unity; success, success, great success".
