Digital transformation helps private enterprises optimize operations, save costs, increase productivity, expand markets and enhance competitiveness.

But everything changed when her business started to approach artificial intelligence, especially the ChatGPT platform. From a "tech-blind" person, Ms. Diu now uses AI as a powerful "digital assistant" in business.

"I use AI to support planning, writing content, analyzing costs, and predicting profits. What used to take me all day, now only takes a few minutes. But most importantly, Resolution 68 has helped me see clearly my role in the country's development picture. That private enterprises are not left out," Ms. Diu shared.

She also frankly admitted: "AI is just a tool. Users are the deciding factor. If they know how to exploit it properly, businesses can save a lot of costs and time, thereby making authentic and effective decisions."

In Tuy Duc district, Long Hue Investment Joint Stock Company is also actively investing in digital transformation. They are not only researching AI applications, but also completely changing the production process, from raw material areas, traceability to product output.

This enterprise is aiming to build the M'nong passion fruit brand for the domestic market. At the same time, it is looking for ways to reduce operating costs and increase business efficiency with new technology. Modern equipment and smart management software have now become indispensable tools in Long Hue's production and business activities.

Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP of the Government has created a “new wind” in the private enterprise sector, especially in digital transformation. Thereby helping them find their position, role and responsibility in the country's economy .

Support small and medium enterprises in applying AI in production and business

According to the Department of Science and Technology, to support small and medium enterprises in production and business, Dak Nong has coordinated with the Department of Enterprise Development ( Ministry of Finance ) to implement the Digital Transformation Support Program.

Along with that is the organization of activities to support the promotion of digital transformation in enterprises, cooperatives, and business households using digital technology . Thereby, helping to improve the efficiency of production and business activities, as well as the capacity and competitive advantage of enterprises.

Dak Nong currently has about 133 digital technology enterprises. The ratio of digital technology enterprises/1,000 people is about 0.19%. The province's digital economy currently accounts for 9.44% of GRDP, an increase of 1.17% compared to 2022. The whole province has 4,339 active taxpayers applying electronic invoices, reaching a rate of 100%.

“Breath” from Resolution 68

Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, combined with Resolution 57-NQ/TW, is not only a policy breakthrough, but also paves the way for private enterprises to grow and develop.

Resolution 68 emphasizes the drastic implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in the private economic sector.

In particular, it is necessary to issue a legal framework for controlled testing (sandbox) for new technologies, products, services, and new business models. Thereby, creating a favorable environment for private enterprises to participate in research and application of artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, e-commerce, financial technology, smart healthcare, etc.

The Resolution also clearly states that businesses are allowed to include in expenses when determining taxable income for research and development activities 200% of the actual costs of these activities.

Dak Nong's 4-star OCOP products are widely available on e-commerce platforms. All are fully controlled and certified for food safety and hygiene.

Along with that is the development of policies to support investment costs for purchasing machinery, technological innovation, costs of implementing digital transformation, green transformation, sustainable business, and circularity through the mechanism of deducting corporate income tax or funding through funds.

Enterprises are allowed to allocate up to 20% of their taxable income to establish a fund for science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and research and development. Enterprises are allowed to use the fund to self-deploy or order external research and development according to the product contract mechanism...

According to Mr. Dang Van Tin, Deputy Director of Dak Nong Department of Science and Technology, from the specific support policies of the resolutions, many local enterprises are proactively transforming to promptly adapt to the trend.

“Resolution 68 is a positive signal, helping private enterprises become more confident. When enterprises are aware of their position and responsibility, they will proactively innovate, including digital transformation,” Mr. Tin emphasized.

Resolution 68 is not only a legal document, but also a strong signal from the State, affirming its role as a companion in the digital economic race. By removing legal barriers, the resolution opens up space for businesses to venture forward, from bold ideas to competitive products; at the same time, it creates a bridge to the global market.

Dak Nong strives to have 90% of enterprises using and applying digital technology in production and business investment activities by 2030; creating jobs for about 10,000 workers.
