Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, affirmed: President Ho Chi Minh 's ideology, morality and style are the guiding light for the Vietnamese revolution, leading our Party and our people to achieve great victories in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, forever illuminating the Vietnamese generations today and tomorrow to learn and follow to bring the country on par with the world powers.

President Vo Van Thuong and comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia presented flowers and a commemorative medal to honor outstanding examples in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

On the evening of November 2, 2023, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with Vietnam Television to organize the program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2023" to honor typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

The program was attended by President Vo Van Thuong. Also attending were comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; a number of comrades of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; comrades of the Standing Committees of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee; leaders of the Propaganda Department of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees and typical representatives nationwide studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2023.

“Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2023” is an annual exchange program organized to honor typical groups and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Over the past 5 years, the Program has honored dozens of individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

These groups and individuals are Party cells, Party committees and exemplary leaders, cadres, civil servants, armed forces, doctors, teachers, businessmen, religious dignitaries who have made outstanding contributions, innovations, and creativity, bringing great exemplary values that have spread throughout society; there are individuals who have met Uncle Ho, which has become a driving force for them to strive for life, encourage learning, and encourage talent for the community.

The common point of the typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is enthusiasm and spirit of serving the people, not afraid of difficulties and hardships, daring to contribute and sacrifice for the Fatherland, daring to fight against wrongs and evils; promoting creativity in economic development, preserving culture, bringing Vietnamese humanistic and humane values to the world.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, speaking at the Program, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department congratulated and commended the collectives, individuals, and typical models honored in the Program. He affirmed: The life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh is a revolutionary epic, a shining example of patriotism, communist qualities, profound wisdom, pure revolutionary ethics, lifelong dedication, sacrifice, service to the Fatherland, and service to the People.

It was the flag of national independence and socialism, his selfless sacrifice for the people and the country, and his strong belief in the strength of the people and the bright future of the nation that inspired our nation, gathered the strength of belief, the great national unity, and attracted millions of Vietnamese people to be determined, united, and make efforts to act on the path of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland, and advancing to socialism.

His ideology, morality and style are the guiding light for the Vietnamese revolution, leading our Party and our people to great victories in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, forever illuminating the generations of Vietnamese people today and tomorrow to learn and follow to bring the country on par with the world powers. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a self-awareness, responsibility and cultural need of the majority of Vietnamese people.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized that, after nearly 40 years of renovation, under the leadership of the Party, firmly following the path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho and our people, the combined strength of the nation, the position and power of the country, and the material and spiritual life of the people have been constantly improved...

Those achievements are the crystallization of creativity, the result of a continuous and persistent process of striving through many terms of the entire Party, people and army, including important contributions from typical examples nationwide in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

In the program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2023", we are moved to follow typical examples with practical actions, learn and follow Uncle Ho from the simplest, most rustic things but have a strong influence with many good models, creative and effective ways of doing things. These are examples full of responsibility and humanity, attractive and inspiring to the community, examples of constant efforts, daring to think, daring to speak, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, daring to innovate, be creative, daring to face difficulties, challenges and daring to act for the common good, dedicating all to building the country.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes that these typical examples will continue to strive to contribute to affirming and promoting President Ho Chi Minh's legacy, making his ideology, morality and style truly permeate deeply and truly become a solid spiritual foundation in social life.

And in the coming time, there will be many more typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style recognized and commended by the Party, State and People for their achievements and positive contributions to the longevity and development of the country, and to the happiness and prosperity of the People.

In the context of the world situation continuing to have rapid, complex and unpredictable changes, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia said that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, steadfastly upholding the ideals, goals and path that the Party, Uncle Ho and our people have chosen will unite millions of hearts, share the same will and determination, and continue to "promote the tradition of great national unity, build our country to be increasingly rich, prosperous and happy".

With that spirit, he hoped that Party committees and authorities at all levels would continue to innovate, promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle according to Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo and the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

He noted that people's satisfaction is a measure of the quality, capacity, work efficiency and prestige of cadres, party members, civil servants, and each agency and unit. People's trust in the Party and the regime is a priceless asset of society, which needs to be preserved and promoted.

For that sacred reason, learning and following Uncle Ho, each cadre, party member, agency and unit needs to enhance their sense of responsibility, serve the people, do everything for the people's happiness - an important indicator of development; constantly cultivate and practice to be worthy of the people's trust.

Each typical individual continues to promote meaningful, exemplary, responsible work and contribute more to building the country and homeland; preserve and promote the noble title that is honored, spread and expanded from typical to society.

The year 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation. Keeping in mind his advice, we are even more determined to demonstrate the spirit of patriotic emulation in all fields of politics, economics, culture, society, national defense, security, and foreign affairs; promote the will of self-reliance, self-reliance, overcoming difficulties and challenges, and being confident on the journey to realize the aspiration of developing a prosperous and happy country - a journey in which we always have Uncle Ho by our side, a journey that gathers the strength of great national unity and the strength of the times./.
