Through that, the Party launched a vibrant revolutionary struggle movement throughout the country; especially the mass movement towards the celebration of "International Red Day 1/8" - the day of fighting against imperialism, protecting peace , protecting the Soviet Union, supporting the national liberation movement. Responding to the Party's policy, hundreds of struggles of workers, farmers, and soldiers broke out, typically the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement, causing the colonialists and their lackeys to be confused and afraid; the masses were excited, believed in the Party's leadership and turned to the revolution. The document "International Red Day 1/8" published by the Propaganda and Agitation Committee demonstrates the correct and timely leadership of our Party in forming the Party's first propaganda, agitation, and education agency.
Based on the above-mentioned documents and historical events of special significance, in 2000, the Politburo (VIII tenure) decided to take August 1 every year as the Party's Traditional Day of Ideological and Cultural Work and also the Party's Traditional Day of Propaganda (after merging the Central Ideological and Cultural Committee and the Central Science and Education Committee in 2007).

Over the past 94 years, the history of the Vietnamese revolution has demonstrated that the Party's propaganda work has always been identified as a particularly important component in the entire revolutionary activities of the Party, a key field for building and fostering the political foundation of the regime, propagating, educating, mobilizing and organizing the people to carry out revolutionary tasks, contributing significantly to leading the Vietnamese revolution from the victory of the August Revolution in 1945, the resistance war against French colonialism in 1954 ending with the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, to the victory of the resistance war against American imperialism in 1975 ending with the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the victory of the cause of national renewal from 1986 to the present.
For Ninh Thuan province, along with the maturity of the national Propaganda sector, the provincial Propaganda work was formed and strongly developed, bringing the revolutionary movement to the working class of Ninh Thuan very early, contributing to equipping the ideological awareness for the masses to rise up and successfully seize power in the whole province. Through each revolutionary period, the Propaganda sector of the Provincial Party Committee has made bold marks and historical milestones in the glorious revolutionary journey, further enhancing the heroic tradition of the army and people of Ninh Thuan in the cause of national liberation struggle and in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
Since the re-establishment of the province (1992-2024), propaganda work has actively contributed to the successful implementation of the province's political tasks through each revolutionary stage; achieved outstanding achievements, which are: (1) Propaganda work contributing to innovating the Party's leadership methods; building a strong Party in terms of ideology, politics, organization and ethics; bringing the Party's and State's guidelines and policies into social life, creating a strong organizations change in awareness, sense of responsibility and action of Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political and people of all walks of life. (2) Closely following the instructions of the Central Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, doing a good job of consulting and professional work in the fields of politics and ideology, compiling the history of the Provincial Party Committee, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; Advise the Party Committee to summarize and review Directives and Resolutions to ensure time and quality requirements, contribute to raising the awareness of cadres and Party members, bring the Party's Resolutions into life. (3) Being proactive and timely in guiding the implementation of propaganda tasks; discover positive factors, good models, creative ways to commend and replicate; limitations, difficulties, and bottlenecks to overcome; Political theory work, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, propaganda, foreign information, orienting public opinion, press - publishing, culture - arts, science and education, ... creating unity within the Party and consensus of the people to successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building a clean and strong political system.

Looking back at the half-term implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress in the context of intertwined opportunities and challenges; propaganda work has actively contributed to the synchronous and effective implementation of the policy of rapidly developing breakthrough sectors, pillars of marine economy, renewable energy, tourism, high-tech agriculture and alternative driving force projects... achieving positive results in all fields. The socio-economy has remained stable and grown well; the average GRDP increased by 9.28%/year, higher than the average growth rate of the whole country and the South Central Coast region; the scale of the economy increased rapidly, 1.5 times higher than in 2020, equal to 78.9% of the set target. The policy of building Ninh Thuan into an energy and renewable energy center of the whole country according to Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee has achieved positive results; continues to affirm itself as the driving force for the province's economic growth, accounting for 22.2% of the province's GRDP, contributing 23.5% of the total budget revenue. The potentials, advantages, and breakthroughs in energy, processing industry, high-tech agriculture, marine economy, tourism, etc. are focused on and effectively promoted. Infrastructure is focused on investment; attraction investment, administrative reform, and environmental improvement are promoted; key projects and driving forces are accelerated. Economic recovery and development policy mechanisms and specific policies to support the province are effective. Culture - society, environment have made much progress; social security policies are fully and promptly implemented. National defense, security, politics, order, and social safety are guaranteed. The work of building the Party and the political system is focused on with a proactive, thorough, drastic and comprehensive spirit, especially innovating the Party's leadership method, in the direction of being close to the people, serving the people. People of all walks of life trust the Party's leadership.

With the above outstanding achievements, the provincial Propaganda Department has clearly demonstrated its role of "going ahead to pave the way, accompanying the implementation, following the summary", continuing to assume the remaining role on the ideological and cultural front of the Party, together with the national Propaganda Department, contributing to firmly protecting, supplementing, applying, and creatively developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; creating unity in perception and action within the Party and society, consolidating and strengthening people's trust in the Party and State, arousing the will and aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
2024 - the year of "acceleration", is of great significance to fulfill the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021-2025; prepare to organize Party congresses at all levels and the 15th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term in the context of many intertwined advantages, difficulties and challenges. In the face of the issues raised, with the motto of courage, intelligence, solidarity, proactiveness, innovation, creativity, determination and drasticness, the Propaganda Department of the province continues to strongly innovate the content of activities, methods of propaganda work, working methods; closely follow the groundswell reality, grasp the ideological situation, public opinion, improve forecasting ability; strengthen inspection and supervision; Identify key work programs, tasks, and key solutions to effectively organize the implementation of the functions and tasks of the sector. At the same time, focus on Party building in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics; organize research, study, dissemination, and propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws; encourage and promote the tradition of solidarity, patriotism, self-reliance, and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country, striving to achieve greater results.
The 94th anniversary of the Party's Propaganda Sector's Traditional Day is an opportunity for the propaganda team to be confident and proud, continue to affirm their role and position, strive to fulfill their tasks, and contribute to building Ninh Thuan homeland to be increasingly rich and happy. Each cadre doing propaganda work truly deserves to be a pioneer soldier on the ideological and cultural front of the Party.
