Speaking at the event, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh - the initiator of the innovation movement of Nhan Dan Newspaper said that in recent times, Nhan Dan Newspaper has implemented many innovation projects with unique initiatives and ideas, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by the public and readers.

In particular, the 70th anniversary propaganda campaign of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), with the highlight being the interactive panorama exhibition of Dien Bien Phu Victory, has caused a great resonance in the press as well as in society, with strong influence, attracting nearly 30,000 visitors in just one week.

Sharing more about the above project, comrade Le Quoc Minh said that immediately after its release, the issue of Nhan Dan Newspaper on May 7, 2024 created a "fever" when thousands of people, especially young people, tried every way to "hunt" for the special newspaper for many days.

In response to the increasing demand from readers, Nhan Dan Newspaper has decided to print 5,000, then 100,000 copies of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Panorama supplement from socialized sources to give to readers in 63 provinces and cities across the country.

In addition to the creative innovations in the propaganda campaign about Dien Bien Phu Victory, comrade Le Quoc Minh said that Nhan Dan Newspaper also carried out many other creative innovation projects such as: the project of specialized pages for 6 socio -economic regions, the program of Building Tet, the Community Action Award, the music project Good Morning Vietnam..., thereby creating a buzz and leaving a great impression.

Acknowledging the efforts of the units through 3 seasons of innovation, he emphasized that the most important thing is that the spirit of innovation has spread everywhere in the editorial office, not only in specialized units but also in the Office block, printing house, etc.

“Besides the big, resounding creations, there are small, little-known creations that bring about a clear change in daily publishing activities,” Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh stated.

Emphasizing that the activities of Nhan Dan Newspaper are increasingly expanding into society with new connections and cooperation, comrade Dinh Nhu Hoan proposed expanding the participation criteria in the year of innovation 2024-2025 to welcome innovative and collaborative works and products, and works and products carried out by units and individuals outside the newspaper but directed towards Nhan Dan Newspaper, for Nhan Dan Newspaper.

The Selection Council of the 3rd Nhan Dan Newspaper Innovation Award - 2024 has decided to award 1 Special Prize, 1 A Prize, 2 B Prizes, 3 C Prizes and 5 Encouragement Prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding products and creative ideas.

Accordingly, the Special Prize was awarded to the major project: "The 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the Panorama Interactive Painting Exhibition Communication Campaign", with strong influence nationwide in recent times.
