According to the resolution, block 1 is renamed block 7; block 2 is renamed block 8; block 3 is renamed block 9.
The new Block 7 will have 11 solidarity groups, with an area of 24.3 hectares, a population of about 330 households/1,450 people. The new Block 8 will have 14 solidarity groups, an area of 16.6 hectares, and a population of about 400 households/1,734 people. The new Block 9 will have 16 solidarity groups, an area of 23.2 hectares, and a population of about 530 households/2,639 people.
According to Resolution No. 1241 dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Quang Nam province in the period of 2023 - 2025, the entire natural area of 0.66 km 2 and population of 5,627 people of Phuoc Hoa ward will be merged into An Xuan ward. After the merger, the new An Xuan ward will have a natural area of 1.75 km 2 and a population of 18,580 people.
The renaming after the administrative unit arrangement received high consensus from voters of 3 blocks of Phuoc Hoa ward to soon stabilize the organization and operation of the blocks.
