Dialogue, solving difficulties for businesses in the field of social housing and parking lots

The dialogue conference is an opportunity to exchange and provide information on the implementation status and difficulties in the investment process for projects in the fields of social housing, parking lots, and environment. Thereby, demonstrating the role of the City government in supporting, facilitating, removing difficulties and obstacles, accompanying businesses to speed up project progress, and promote production and business in the city in 2024.

At the same time, absorb the opinions, recommendations, proposals, and initiatives of businesses to continue building mechanisms and policies for development in the fields of social housing, parking lots, and the environment in the city in 2024 and the following years.

According to the expected content, the dialogue conference will inform about the situation of operations, investment implementation in the fields of social housing, parking lots, and environment in the city; the results of implementing support policies and orientations in attracting investment from the Central and the city for enterprises investing and operating in the fields of social housing, parking lots, and environment. At the same time, the city leaders will listen to reports from business associations and investors summarizing the situation of investment operations, difficulties, and problems of the units; recommendations and proposals for solutions to the city to promote production and business activities, and promote business development.

In the plan, the City People's Committee also assigned specific tasks to departments and branches and requested that the dialogue be organized to ensure democracy, publicity, transparency, objectivity, and thrift, creating conditions for businesses to participate in expressing opinions and raising difficulties and obstacles in the process of investment and project implementation. Based on the opinions of businesses, departments and branches, based on their assigned functions and tasks, are responsible for responding at the conference or advising the City People's Committee to respond after the conference in the spirit of thoroughly resolving difficulties and obstacles or reporting and recommending to competent authorities for consideration and resolution. Businesses participating in the Conference proactively and actively exchanged and made recommendations in a constructive and sharing spirit for the common development of the City.

The conference is expected to be held in person in November 2024 with 150 - 200 delegates attending, including: representatives of a number of central ministries and branches, leaders of the City People's Committee; Departments, branches and sectors of the City; representatives of leaders of districts, towns and cities; representatives of a number of banks and investment funds in Hanoi ; representatives of a number of business associations and state-owned corporations operating in the fields of housing, parking lots and environment in Hanoi; representatives of about 20 - 30 investment enterprises operating in the fields of housing, parking lots and environment in Hanoi.
