Vietnam women's volleyball team won the Asian championship for the third time

VHO - Winning 3-0 against the Philippines women's volleyball team in the final match, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the Asian Volleyball Cup - AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup 2025 for the third consecutive time.

On the evening of June 14 at Dong Anh Stadium ( Hanoi ), the Vietnamese women's team entered the final match against the Philippine women's team.

The Vietnamese women's team won convincingly in the final match to be crowned champions.

To be present in this final match, the Vietnamese girls had a convincing 3-1 victory over the Kazakhstan women's team in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Philippine women's team had a tough match, needing five sets to win 3-2 against Chinese Taipei.

The last time the Vietnamese women's team met the Philippines in an international tournament was in the group stage of the 2024 Volleyball World Cup on the opponent's field.

In this rematch, the Vietnamese girls with their high performance, home field advantage and home crowd continued to win even though the Philippines had made great progress.

In set 1, the Vietnamese women's team entered the game confidently, continuously scoring points to create a large gap, before easily winning 25-15.

In set 2, the Vietnamese women's team only encountered a few difficulties in the beginning.

When the score was 9-9, the Vietnamese girls "accelerated" to create a gap in the score before winning 25-17.

The third set continued to witness the superiority of the Vietnamese women's team.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's students did not have much difficulty winning 25-14.

Defeating the Philippines 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-14), the Vietnamese girls successfully defended their championship.

This is the third consecutive time the Vietnamese women's team has won the AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup 2025.
