After 4 months of construction, the level 4 house with an area of nearly 100m2, including 1 living room, 3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, with a total cost of more than 250 million VND was handed over to Mr. Cam Ba Tanh's family to put into use and stabilize their lives.
On August 22, Ea H'leo Border Guard Station ( Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with the Party Committee and authorities of Ia Lop border commune, Dak Lak province to organize the handover of the "Great Solidarity" house project to the family of Mr. Cam Ba Tanh, born in 1983, who has extremely difficult housing circumstances and to expand the model of "Raising F1 hybrid pigs for reproduction combined with commercial freshwater fish farming".
Mr. Cam Ba Tanh’s family is poor and their life is full of hardships. The old house, built nearly two decades ago, is seriously degraded, leaking, the walls are rotten, and the roof can no longer protect against the sun and rain. The family’s economy is tight, with little land for production, the family cannot afford to renovate or upgrade, and has had to struggle to make ends meet in the makeshift house for many years.
Faced with that situation, the Border Guard and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dak Lak province supported the construction of a "Great Unity" house for Mr. Tanh's family.
After 4 months of construction, the level 4 house has an area of nearly 100m2 , including 1 living room, 3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, with a total cost of more than 250 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province supported 50 million VND, the remaining amount was supported by family, relatives, and working days of officers and soldiers of Ea H'leo Border Guard Station.
On this occasion, Ea H'leo Border Guard Station also deployed the model of "Raising F1 hybrid pigs for reproduction combined with commercial freshwater fish farming" at Mr. Tanh's family. With the available pond conditions, his family was supported by the unit with 15kg of grass carp and bighead carp fingerlings and 6 piglets, totaling nearly 20 million VND, this is the source of funding contributed by officers and soldiers along with the unit's fund.
Major Nguyen Phi Lanh, Deputy Political Commissar of Ea H'leo Border Guard Station, said: In the coming time, Ea H'leo Border Guard Station will coordinate with the Commune Farmers' Association to provide technical support for care and herd restoration, creating a sustainable economic development direction for families. After the model develops effectively, the breeding stock will be rotated to support other disadvantaged households in the area.
