Attending the conference were: Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Tan Phu; Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Thi Loan; and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion Hoang Cu.
Father Tran Xuan Thao, Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Dong Nai province, said: After the merger, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Dong Nai province has 20 members, an increase of 7; the Committee of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province has 163 members, an increase of 73. In 2025, Catholic people have successfully implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws, joining hands with the people of the province to promote economic development, in the spirit of "loving God, loving neighbor," living "a good life and a beautiful faith"... with a total value of charitable and social activities reaching over 252 billion VND.

According to Father Tran Xuan Thao, in 2026, the Vietnam Catholic Committee of the province identified 10 key tasks to implement the patriotic emulation movement among Catholic people, including: continuing to thoroughly implement the pastoral direction "Living the Gospel in the heart of the nation, to serve the happiness of the people" through responding to campaigns and patriotic emulation movements launched by the government and the Fatherland Front.
To guide and encourage Catholic compatriots to continue implementing and concretizing the contents of the resolutions of the 1st Party Congress at all levels, term 2025-2030; the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, term 2025-2030; and the Resolution of the 8th Congress of Vietnamese Catholics for National Construction and Defense, term 2023-2028 in the province.
Continue to establish grassroots Catholic Solidarity Committees, and innovate the content of their activities so that the patriotic emulation movement among Catholic compatriots will develop sustainably…
On this occasion, the Vietnam Catholic Committee awarded certificates of merit to 13 priests, nuns, and lay people for their outstanding achievements in implementing the patriotic emulation movement among Catholic people in Dong Nai province in 2025.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province Nguyen Tan Phu congratulated the priests, nuns, and parishioners of Dong Nai province who received commendations from the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee and extended Christmas greetings for 2025 to the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Dong Nai province; he also emphasized the efforts of the Catholic community in Dong Nai and the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Dong Nai province in charitable and social activities, which not only demonstrate the spirit of "Reverence for God, love for the country" but also align with the socio-economic goals of the province for a prosperous, peaceful, and happy life for the people.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province hopes that the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province will continue to be an active member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, playing the role of a bridge between Catholic compatriots and the Party committees, government, and Fatherland Front at all levels; and continue to coordinate and effectively implement key tasks to contribute to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic tasks in 2026.
