Continuing the investment promotion program in some European countries, on June 3, Comrade Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and the Ha Nam Provincial Delegation visited and worked with the Embassy of Vietnam in the Federal Republic of Germany; the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Federal Republic of Germany; and the Ha Nam Association in the Federal Republic of Germany.

The delegation included members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Anh Chuc, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Hong Quan, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Dao Dinh Tung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Duc Toan, Secretary of the Phu Ly City Party Committee; Bui Van Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities; representatives of a number of enterprises in the province.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Deputy Ambassador Chu Tuan Duc and officials of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany; Mr. Nguyen Van Hien, Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Federal Republic of Germany; Mr. Dinh Huu Thi, representative of the Ha Nam Association in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Deputy Ambassador Chu Tuan Duc informed the delegation about the political , economic and social situation of the Federal Republic of Germany and the activities of the business community and the Vietnamese community in the Federal Republic of Germany; especially information about the relationship between the two countries, trade and investment policies, investment cooperation opportunities in the Federal Republic of Germany and attracting investment from enterprises of the Federal Republic of Germany and Vietnamese enterprises operating in the Federal Republic of Germany to Vietnam.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thuy sincerely thanked Deputy Ambassador Chu Tuan Duc and the leaders and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany for their welcome. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thuy briefly introduced the socio -economic development achievements of Ha Nam province in recent years; the potential, advantages as well as preferential policies to attract investment of the province. At the same time, she expressed her hope that the Deputy Ambassador would continue to pay attention, support, and introduce investors to learn about and participate in investment; promote and introduce to attract tourists from the Federal Republic of Germany to Ha Nam.

The Deputy Ambassador promised to always support Ha Nam with the Ambassador, leaders and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany, identifying this as a common responsibility and political task assigned to the Embassy by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Deputy Ambassador believes that with open policies and mechanisms, the strong leadership and direction of the Party Committee and government, and the participation of the entire political system, Ha Nam will continue to achieve important achievements in socio-economic development and investment attraction.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hien, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in the Federal Republic of Germany, on behalf of the business community and the Vietnamese community in the Federal Republic of Germany, informed and introduced the activities of the Vietnamese community and the Vietnamese business community in Germany. Especially the strengths and prestige of the Vietnamese business community in Germany; the demand for investment in production and business in Vietnam, and the import and export of goods between Vietnam and Germany. Mr. Nguyen Van Hien and representatives of the Vietnamese business community in the Federal Republic of Germany proposed to organize a working trip to Ha Nam to survey and research investment in Ha Nam in mid-2024.

Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy and the delegation acknowledged the achievements of the business community, the Vietnamese community in general and Ha Nam people in particular in Germany, especially in organizing community activities, investing in economic development in Germany, European countries as well as investment activities in Vietnam.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the Vietnamese business community and Ha Nam businesses in Germany will pay attention to supporting investment attraction activities, directly learn about and invest in Ha Nam, especially in the fields of high-tech industry, resort tourism, high-tech agriculture; at the same time, bring goods produced in Ha Nam to the German market in particular and the European market in general. Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy pledged to lead and direct agencies, departments, branches and localities to create the best conditions for investors interested in investing in Ha Nam province in all fields.

Next, Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy and the delegation visited and learned about the activities of Dong Xuan Trade Center in Berlin. This is a commercial area that concentrates the Vietnamese community, having a great influence in the export, import and distribution of Vietnamese goods in the Federal Republic of Germany.
