On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), on the morning of February 27, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and congratulated the staff of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Provincial General Hospital. The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy is the cradle of training high-quality human resources for the health sector. With great efforts and determination, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy has increasingly affirmed its reputation and brand, attracting not only domestic students but also international students. Along with the mission of training human resources for the medical sector, the University has also effectively carried out medical examination and treatment, contributing to improving the quality of protecting and caring for people's health.

The Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the achievements of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the past time; at the same time, he suggested that the University continue to do better in training, affirm its reputation and brand, and become a leading university in the field of medicine and pharmacy in the region. The University needs to consolidate and build a team of human resources with higher academic titles and degrees; research training codes suitable for modern medicine and pharmacy, meeting practical needs; strengthen facilities, medical equipment and expand international cooperation. Promote applied research, develop science and technology, create breakthroughs to develop the province's medicine and pharmacy sector; coordinate to create scientific and technological products of the province in the coming time. Along with that, further promote the capacity of medical examination and treatment, build the University's hospital to develop more and more, and perform well in medical examination and treatment.

At the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Party Secretary sent best wishes to the doctors, staff and employees and acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the Hospital, especially in medical examination and treatment; research, application of science and technology, development of high and specialized techniques.
Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and encouraged patients being treated at the Emergency and Stroke Center, Provincial General Hospital.
Faced with the requirements of innovation, development, and the increasing demand for health care for the people, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the staff, doctors, and employees of the Hospital to continue to innovate and improve quality; promote research and application of new and specialized techniques in medical examination and treatment. Increase investment in facilities; coordinate to improve the quality of training, foster human resources, and promote links with upper-level units to improve the quality of treatment and the quality of medical examination and treatment, and health care for the people. Pay attention to the lives of cadres, doctors, and medical staff so that they can work with peace of mind and contribute to the cause of protecting and caring for people's health. Continue to have new developments to meet the new requirements set forth in the integration and development trend of Thai Binh province, contributing to making Thai Binh a high-quality medical center in the Red River Delta.
