(ABO) On the morning of July 18, the Farmers' Association of Tan Thoi commune, Dong Thap province held the first Executive Committee meeting for the 2023-2028 term. Attending the meeting was comrade Tran Minh Trung, Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Dong Thap province.

Awarding the decision to appoint the Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Tan Thoi commune.

The conference approved the decisions of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association on the establishment of the Tan Thoi Commune Farmers' Association; appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Tan Thoi Commune Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term.

Accordingly, the Farmers' Association of Tan Thoi commune was established on the basis of merging the Farmers' Associations of three communes: Tan Thoi, Tan Phu and Tan Thanh.

Awarding the decision to appoint the Standing Committee of the Farmers' Association of Tan Thoi commune.

After the merger, Tan Thoi Commune Farmers' Association has 19 affiliated branches with 4,380 members. The Commune Farmers' Association Executive Committee consists of 26 members, and the Commune Farmers' Association Standing Committee consists of 5 members.

Comrade Huynh Thi Quynh Hoa, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thoi commune, was appointed to hold the position of President of the Farmers' Association of Tan Thoi commune for the 2023 - 2028 term.

The conference also approved the operating regulations of the Executive Committee; decided to assign tasks to the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee; the program of work of the association and the Farmers' movement for the last 6 months of 2025. Delegates contributed ideas and solutions to the program of work of the association and the Farmers' movement for the last 6 months of 2025.

At the same time, we hope that in the coming time, the Farmers' Association at higher levels will continue to pay attention and have policies to support members in developing their family economy and stabilizing their lives.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Huynh Thi Quynh Hoa requested the branches to continue to do a good job of grasping the ideological situation of members; be proactive, creative, focus on economic development, proactively respond to natural disasters, climate change... to contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the locality in the coming time.
