Comrade Nguyen Phuong Thao holds the position of Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union

The Central Youth Union Secretariat has just issued Decision No. 1511-QD/TWĐTN-CTĐ dated July 8, 2025 on recognizing comrade Nguyen Phuong Thao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Quang Ninh province, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union, term XII, 2022-2027.

Previously, on July 2, 2025, the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union, term XII, held a conference to complete the position of Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union. Comrade Nguyen Phuong Thao was absolutely trusted with 100% of the votes.

Comrade Nguyen Phuong Thao was born on October 7, 1990 in Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province; has professional qualifications: Bachelor of International Trade Economics, Bachelor of Economic Law, Master of Public Administration; political theory level: Advanced.

Joining the Youth Union since 2013, comrade Nguyen Phuong Thao has held many positions at the Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union such as: Specialist of the International Youth Committee; Deputy Head, then Head of the Provincial Youth Union's Propaganda Department. From 2022 to present, she has held the position of Deputy Secretary, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, and concurrently Chairman of the Youth Union Council and Chairman of the Provincial Student Association.

With extensive experience and many years of dedication to the work of the Youth Union - Association - Pioneers, comrade Nguyen Phuong Thao is considered a young cadre with courage, responsibility, close-mindedness and creativity in implementing the activities of the Youth Union and the youth and children's movement of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Phuong Thao, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, presented gifts and encouraged youth volunteer teams in residential areas on the day the province's youth launched propaganda, guided administrative procedures, and removed difficulties and obstacles in implementing two-level local government in Quang Ninh province.

The fact that he was trusted to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union is not only a recognition of his persistent dedication, but also demonstrates the trust of the Youth Union and the youth of the whole province in the generation of young cadres who are "both red and professional", ready to take on important responsibilities, continue to spread enthusiasm, and arouse the desire to contribute of the youth generation of Quang Ninh in the new period.
