On the afternoon of July 9, the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies held the first meeting of the Party Executive Committee; announced the decision to establish the Party Committee; appointed the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Party Committee Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term. At the same time, it received grassroots Party organizations and Party members; established subordinate Party organizations and specialized agencies to advise and assist.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Vo Ngoc Quoc Thuan announced the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies, on the basis of merging the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Binh Duong province and the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Party Committee of the Party agencies of Ho Chi Minh City includes Party organizations and Party members of the Party organizations and Party members of 3 Party Committees of the Party agencies: Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Binh Duong province and Ho Chi Minh City before the merger.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also decided to appoint the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Party Committees of Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term.
