Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia attended the memorial service, burial of martyrs' remains and presented gifts to policy families in Tay Ninh.

Also attending were Major General Doan Quang Hoa, Director of the Policy Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7 - Head of Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 7; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province; and leaders and former leaders of Tay Ninh province through the periods.

Before performing the ceremony of paying respects and burying the remains of martyrs, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia rang the bell three times to summon the souls of martyrs. The delegates also observed a moment of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and the noble international duty.

Reading the eulogy at the ceremony to pay respect and bury the martyrs' remains, comrade Vo Duc Trong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for searching, collecting and identifying the martyrs' remains (Steering Committee 515) of Tay Ninh province, emotionally expressed: "Although the return of comrades today is not filled with bright flags and flowers, nor are there hugs from relatives and comrades, this return is filled with the breath of the homeland, containing the respect and gratitude of the entire nation, of compatriots and comrades across the country in general, Tay Ninh province in particular, respectfully bows, welcomes comrades with emotion, pride and deep respect and gratitude".

According to comrade Vo Duc Trong, over the past years, the whole country in general, Military Region 7, the Party Committee, the government, the army and the people of Tay Ninh in particular have always kept in mind the search and collection of the remains of heroic martyrs with all their hearts and responsibilities. Implementing the policy of the Governments of Vietnam and Cambodia, with the coordination and assistance of 3 Military Regions including Military Region 2, Military Region 4, Military Region 5 and the Royal Cambodian Army, together with the authorities and people of the provinces of Banteay Meanchey, Oddar Meancheay, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmun, of the Kingdom of Cambodia, phase 1, phase XXIII (dry season 2023 - 2024). The two teams K70 (under Military Region 7) and K71 (under the Military Command of Tay Ninh province) have searched for, collected and repatriated 125 remains of martyrs, but their identities have not been determined.

The delegation also shared the pain and loss of the families and relatives of the martyrs and sent the martyrs' remains to their final resting place in the motherland.

On the same day, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia and the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh province visited, wished a happy New Year and gave gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of Infantry Division 5.

Here, the Head of the Central Propaganda Department acknowledged and commended the achievements of the officers and soldiers of Division 5 in the past year. On the occasion of the New Year of Giap Thin 2024, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia wished the officers and soldiers of Infantry Division 5 good health, happiness, and excellent completion of assigned tasks.

Also on the morning of February 2, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia and the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh province visited and presented gifts to 100 policy households and meritorious people in Chau Thanh district.

In Trang Bang town, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia also visited and wished a happy new year to families of policy beneficiaries including: War invalid Nguyen Van Toan (born in 1958, An Tinh ward); Martyr's mother Nguyen Thi Nho (born in 1940, An Tinh ward)./.
