Energizing 500kV line 3 circuit section Nam Dinh I

After more than 70 operations and matching orders between the National Power System Control Center and 4 provinces where the project passes through: Hai Duong , Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, the operating team including engineers and workers of the 500kV Viet Hung - Pho Noi Transformer Station successfully energized the project of circuit 3 from Nam Dinh 1 Thermal Power Plant - Pho Noi. The successful energization of the entire circuit contributes to ensuring the progress of inauguration, handover and operation of the system on August 29.

At exactly 4:30 p.m. on August 19, the 500kV line, circuit 3, Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi section, was energized and put into operation (photo provided by the facility).

As a component project of the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach ( Quang Binh ) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen), the Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi Thermal Power 500kV line project has a length of about 127 km, passing through 4 provinces: Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hung Yen and Hai Duong with 334 column foundation locations, 144 corridor anchorages. The project has been implemented since mid-January 2024 until now.

The section passing through Hai Duong is nearly 31 km long, including 74 column foundation locations, 28 anchorages in 4 districts: Ninh Giang, Gia Loc, Thanh Mien and Binh Giang. With the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain" of the construction contractors, the drastic participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people in handing over the land in the localities where the power line passes through, the National Power Transmission Corporation has organized the construction of the project according to the design documents...

Once completed, the project will contribute to reducing the load and avoiding overloading of existing 500kV lines, contributing to supplementing capacity from power sources in the North Central region to the load center in the Northern region, especially at the time when hydropower plants in the North are at low capacity.
