Of the 17 domestic state budget revenue items, 4/17 met or exceeded the targets set by the Provincial People's Council in less than 10 months. Specifically: revenue from foreign-invested enterprises reached 100%, revenue from registration fees reached 109%, other budget revenue reached 138%, and revenue from mineral exploitation rights reached 117%.

Besides the four revenue items that met or exceeded targets, eight out of seventeen domestic revenue items achieved 80% of the provincial People's Council's projected targets, such as revenue from state-owned enterprises managed by the locality, revenue from the non-state industrial and commercial sector, personal income tax, etc. Some revenue items had lower collection rates than projected, such as environmental protection tax and land use fees.
In 2025, Dong Nai province aims to achieve a state budget revenue of 100 trillion VND, including over 77 trillion VND from domestic sources. Therefore, from now until the end of the year, domestic revenue must exceed 22 trillion VND.

To achieve the above objectives, Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department has implemented solutions such as: continuing to review, analyze, and evaluate revenue sources by economic sector, field, and administrative area, ensuring no revenue loss or omission, especially in areas with significant fluctuations in population size and production and business activities. Strictly managing tax revenue from e-commerce to ensure accurate and complete collection, avoiding budget losses.
Resolutely strengthen the prevention and combating of smuggling, trade fraud, transfer pricing, and tax evasion, especially in digital business activities and real estate transfers; focus on inspecting and monitoring the implementation of legal regulations on prices, taxes, and fees; strictly handle violations in accordance with the law… Further promote digital transformation in tax management; accelerate administrative procedure reform, while seriously implementing the conclusions and recommendations of the State Audit Office and inspection agencies; decisively address violations and shortcomings discovered and recommended by audit and inspection agencies.
