Every year, the unit has closely followed the grassroots, grasped the thoughts and aspirations to support farmers in building suitable economic development models, promoting the potential and advantages of the locality and family, and proactively coordinated with agencies and units to implement many support policies, encouraging farmers to change the structure of crop and livestock varieties; promote the application of scientific and technical advances in production; organize vocational training; supply seeds, fertilizers and support the disbursement of preferential loans for members. From 2023 to now, the Association has supplied 240 tons of various NPK fertilizers in the form of deferred payment, helping farmers reduce the burden of investment costs and increase production efficiency; Disbursed 9 projects from the Provincial Farmers Support Fund to 61 households with loans totaling more than 3.6 billion VND; received entrustment from the Tien Lu Social Policy Bank Transaction Office with more than 68.4 billion VND for 763 members to borrow capital for production development.
Along with that, the Commune Farmers' Association also acts as a "bridge" between farmers and enterprises in the production of rice seeds, importing more than 300 tons of rice seeds for enterprises each year at a selling price 20% higher than the market price; undertaking a demonstration model of new high-quality rice varieties for enterprises and the agricultural sector with an area of dozens of hectares; propagating to help farmers grasp the rice varieties supported by the province for high value, productivity, and economic efficiency to apply in production, thanks to which, the average rice yield of the commune reaches 115 - 120 quintals/ha/year. Not only supporting production, the Commune Farmers' Association also actively participates in connecting the consumption of dozens of tons of agricultural products for farmers in the province, helping to consume at the right time, ensuring quality and value. With the companionship and practical support of the Commune Farmers' Association, each year, the whole commune has more than 2,000 households achieving the title of good farmer and business households at all levels, including many typical examples such as: Central-level good farmer and business household Luong Thi Phuong Anh, Da Quang village with a building materials store, earning more than 1 billion VND in profit each year. Ms. Phuong Anh said: I was entrusted by the Commune Farmers' Association from the Farmers' Support Fund and the Transaction Office of Tien Lu Social Policy Bank to lend capital to serve the activities of the family building materials store. Thanks to its reputable business and guaranteed product quality, each year, the store serves more than 250 customer projects with building materials, creating regular jobs for 8 local workers.
For Mr. Vu Van Thiem, Di Che village has developed a comprehensive farm model with an area of more than 5.4 hectares, earning hundreds of millions of dong each year. Mr. Thiem said: I was entrusted by the Commune Farmers' Association to receive loans from credit institutions and banks; was promoted and mobilized to join the An Binh Grapefruit Cooperative to work together, share experiences in planting and raising livestock, and receive support in fertilizers... Currently, I grow more than 700 Dien and Hoang grapefruit trees, intercropping longan; raise chickens and ducks in combination with nearly 2 hectares of ponds for commercial fish. I installed an automatic irrigation system, and took care of the plants organically using biological products soaked in soybeans, fish, eggs... To find outlets for the products, my wife and I actively promote the products through social networking platforms to connect directly with consumers and traders. Thanks to building a clean and reputable product brand, each year I sell more than 30,000 grapefruits at a higher price than the market, bringing a stable income for my family.
