The procession of the Goddess Po Sah Inư's costume is the most important ritual in the Kate Festival.
Mr. Doan Van Thuan, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Museum, said: The activities at the Cham Cultural Exhibition Center always aim to preserve and promote the unique cultural values of the Cham people in order to contribute to the development of an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity. Through the activities, the Museum wishes to promote and introduce more widely the tangible and intangible cultural heritage values of the Cham people to the public, while creating a joyful and healthy cultural space, attracting tourists and creating an ideal playground for the Cham people, especially the young generation - the subject that actively contributes to the preservation and development of the traditional culture of the nation.
Within the framework of the event, the Provincial Museum organized the reception of 15 artifacts and antiques donated by collectors, intellectuals and Cham people for the Cham Cultural Exhibition Center. These precious artifacts contributed to enriching the display collection, bringing the total number of artifacts of the Center to more than 1,600; at the same time, helping the public better understand the spiritual life, beliefs and traditional arts of the Cham people.
The Cham Cultural Exhibition Center opened a photo exhibition space called “Cultural Colors of Ethnic Groups in Lam Dong Province”, introducing 70 vivid photos reflecting the diverse lives of ethnic communities in the area.
An attractive highlight of the series of activities is the traditional handicraft demonstration area such as: brocade weaving, pottery and gingerbread making - a traditional cake with a unique flavor of the Cham people. Visitors can experience firsthand with the artisans and learn about the production process.
Artisan Lam Hung Soi, Bac Binh commune, shared: "When making pottery, Cham people do not use a wheel but shape it by hand and walk around the product. That is the unique technique of Cham pottery. Each product carries the cultural breath and heart of the craftsman. I am very happy to pass on the profession to the younger generation and visitors who come to see it."
Many folk games such as blindfolded pot smashing, throwing bamboo sticks into ceramic jars..., tours taking tourists to visit the Cham Royal Open Warehouse Collection (Hong Thai commune), Po Anit Temple (Bac Binh commune) and the historical and cultural architectural relic Po Klong Mohnai Temple (Luong Son commune)... are also organized, creating a vibrant atmosphere, connecting people and tourists.

Visiting the Cham Cultural Exhibition Center, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, a resident of Phan Thiet Ward, said that coming here, she not only got to see artifacts and learn about customs, but also directly experience making cakes and pottery with Cham artisans. The activities helped her have the opportunity to understand more about the culture of ethnic groups.
In particular, on this occasion, the Provincial Museum coordinated with primary schools with Cham language teaching programs to organize a traditional Cham writing contest, contributing to preserving the writing, language and national identity among students.
Che Nu Kim Cuong, a 5th grade student at Phan Hoa 1 Primary School, said: I feel very happy and proud to come here every year to compete in the Cham writing contest. I want to write beautifully and preserve the language and writing that many generations of our ancestors have preserved.
Since its establishment in 2010, the Cham Cultural Exhibition Center has become one of the typical destinations, a place to preserve, introduce and spread the unique values of Cham culture to visitors from near and far.
In particular, every Kate festival season, the Center becomes more bustling with many activities of displaying, performing and exchanging folk culture, helping viewers better understand the customs, beliefs and traditional arts of the Cham people.
With these values, the Center increasingly affirms its role as a "common home" of Cham culture, where visitors can deeply feel the enduring vitality of a heritage that is still being preserved and shining.
