DOWHAT - connecting technology and hotel experience
DOWHAT is a Korean technology company that provides a smart hotel platform that integrates PMS, reservations, CRM and AI into a unified ecosystem. The solution helps hotels optimize operations, increase direct bookings and enhance customer experience through automation and data personalization.
The company is currently cooperating with many large corporations such as Accor, Lotte, and has expanded to Thailand and Vietnam since 2025. DOWHAT is considered one of Asia's pioneers in the field of Smart Hotel and Travel-Tech.

Comprehensive integrated solution for digital hotels
The hotel industry is facing fragmented management systems and disjointed data. DOWHAT's solution integrates all tools - from room management, reservations, to customer care - on a single platform.
DOWHAT's platform is compatible with Oracle OPERA Cloud, helping to synchronize data in real time, support AI to analyze customer behavior, automate marketing and personalize services. Thanks to that, hotels can reduce operating costs, optimize human resources and increase guest satisfaction.

The difference - technology connected to people
Unlike traditional PMS systems, DOWHAT combines AI and creative marketing through the STA model - allowing hotels to sell rooms directly through influencer channels. This model not only increases direct bookings but also helps hotel brands reach the right target customer groups, bringing higher marketing efficiency than traditional OTA channels.
Vietnam - DOWHAT's strategic market
According to Mr. Jay Lee - Strategy Director, Vietnam is a key market in Southeast Asia, thanks to its rapid tourism growth and strong digital transformation support policies.
“Vietnam is the new center of Asian tourism. We want to cooperate with Vietnamese hotels and technology enterprises to build a localized smart hotel model,” Mr. Lee shared.
At the Vietnam - Korea Digital Forum 2025, an annual event organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Korea Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), bringing together more than 100 leading enterprises and research organizations of the two countries, DOWHAT expects to expand cooperation with hotel corporations, travel companies and Vietnamese management agencies.
The company plans to deploy pilot projects Smart Hotel and STA (Smart Tourism Assistant), contributing to improving Vietnam's hotel service standards using AI technology and smart data, towards sustainable digital tourism in the region.
3-5 year strategy: Vietnam as a regional center
DOWHAT aims to build a regional operations center in Vietnam, serving expansion to Thailand, Indonesia and other ASEAN countries. This strategy focuses on localizing AI solutions, expanding STA channels, and collaborating on research and development with local universities and businesses.
The company aims to help Vietnam become the center of the regional smart hotel ecosystem, while promoting digital tourism connections between Korea and Southeast Asia.
Korea-Vietnam technological cooperation in the era of inclusive AI
DOWHAT believes that the combination of Korea's AI capabilities and Vietnam's dynamic digital ecosystem will create a sustainable technology cooperation model.
“We want to bring Korean smart hotel technology to Vietnam, helping to enhance the travel experience through AI - where data connects human emotions,” Mr. Jay Lee affirmed.
