Project VIE085 established 10 intergenerational self-help clubs

In localities supported by Project VIE085, the leaders of the Provincial Association of the Elderly announced the decision to establish the LTHTGN Club, the Executive Board and made a list of members to ensure the criteria according to the instructions. The clubs organized for members to discuss and agree on the operating regulations. Right at the launching ceremony, the LTHTGN clubs organized activities under the guidance of experts, ensuring the content and operating procedures.

Project VIE085 is funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), HelpAge International in Korea (HAK), HelpAge International in Vietnam (HAI) and will be implemented in Hoa Binh province from July 2023 and is expected to end in November 2025. To date, the project has completed its goal of establishing 28 LTHTGN clubs, bringing direct benefits to nearly 1,500 lonely elderly people, people in difficult circumstances and people in the community.
