According to Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thanh Nam, Vice Principal of the University of Education , Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the prediction of the benchmark score is based on many variables such as the number of registered candidates and the total admission score. This year, based on the analysis of the high school graduation exam score spectrum, the benchmark score of some admission combinations, especially those with Math and English, may decrease.
The Vice President of the University of Education also noted that the Pedagogy group is attracting greater interest from candidates.
"The attraction of the Pedagogy industry is getting hotter and hotter, the number of interested wishes is increasing. The National Assembly 's recent passing of the Law on Teachers has created more confidence and motivation for students when choosing this field of study, contributing to increasing the level of competition in this year's admission season, making the benchmark score unpredictable," said Mr. Nam.

This year, the University of Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi enrolls 16 regular university training majors, specifically as follows:
University admission by major, with teacher training majors, including: Mathematics Pedagogy; Physics Pedagogy; Chemistry Pedagogy; Biology Pedagogy; Natural Science Pedagogy; Literature Pedagogy; History Pedagogy; History - Geography Pedagogy; Preschool Education; Primary Education.
University admission by major group (major group name: Educational Science and others), organized into sub-majors after students finish their first year, for non-pedagogical majors, including: Educational Science; Educational Technology Management; Education Quality Management; School Counseling; School Administration; Psychology (major: Clinical Psychology of Children and Adolescents).
The school uses 4 admission methods, including: direct admission; university preparatory admission; high school graduation exam scores; and Hanoi National University's competency assessment test results.
Regarding the enrollment quota for teacher training majors, according to the latest announcement from the school, Preschool Education has the highest quota with 140 quotas, followed by Literature Pedagogy with 100 quotas, Natural Science Pedagogy, History - Geography Pedagogy with 70 quotas.
The threshold to ensure the quality of regular university entrance in 2025 for all majors/groups of majors admitted based on high school graduation exam scores announced by the University of Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi is from 19 points or higher (30-point scale). This level does not include priority points, does not distinguish between admission combinations and does not distinguish between the 2006 or 2018 general education program.
The admission score is the total score of the highest admission combination among the admission combinations of the candidate when registering for admission to the major/group of majors, corresponding to each admission method, plus bonus points and regional priority points, priority points for subjects (if any).
