On the morning of January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City organized a welcoming ceremony for the Crystal Symphony cruise ship carrying 800 American tourists to the city in the new year of the Snake.

At Tien Sa port (Son Tra district), tourists were excited to watch lion dance performances and receive souvenirs, especially conical hats, as soon as they got off the ship.

She shared that she had heard from friends that Vietnamese people are very hospitable and friendly, and the tourist attractions are also very beautiful. "This time, I will visit many tourist attractions in Da Nang," Ms. Venus shared.

It is known that the Crystal Symphony ship departed from Singapore on January 18, 2025, passing through Thailand and Cambodia before arriving in Vietnam.

In Da Nang, American tourists will visit famous destinations such as Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda, Cham Sculpture Museum, and My Khe Beach.

At 9:00 a.m. the same day, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City continued to welcome visitors to Da Nang International Airport on the first day of the New Year of the Snake.

At the airport, tourists are also given gifts of Da Nang specialties such as conical hats, ginger jam, grilled coconut cakes, sesame seeds, etc.

In particular, the "picking the spring fortune" program also gives visitors vouchers for sightseeing and entertainment at famous destinations in the city during their stay in Da Nang.

According to statistics, on the first day of the Lunar New Year 2025, Da Nang International Airport welcomed more than 140 domestic and international flights, estimated at more than 20,000 visitors to Da Nang for sightseeing.

The total number of visitors to Da Nang during the Lunar New Year is estimated at more than 456,000, an increase of 13.5% compared to the 2024 holiday.

Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 221,000 arrivals, domestic visitors are estimated at more than 235,000 arrivals.
