(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The Thanh Hoa Newspaper Children's Football Tournament - Long Son Cement Cup 2025 will officially kick off on June 7 in Quang Xuong district. This is an annual sporting event that is eagerly awaited by many children, parents and football fans in the province.

Following the success of previous seasons, this year, the tournament is expected to continue to gather the participation of nearly 50 U8 and U10 teams from 26 districts, towns and cities. The matches will be held at the stadium and gymnasium of Quang Xuong district, promising to bring a vibrant atmosphere and attractive competitions of young players.

A notable new point of this year's tournament is the sponsorship of Long Son Cement, marking a new development step when the tournament is officially named Thanh Hoa Newspaper Children's Football Tournament - Long Son Cement Cup 2025.

The recent Thanh Hoa Province Community Football Festival was an important step towards the Thanh Hoa Newspaper Children's Football Tournament.

Recently, satellite facilities of Viet Hung Football Training Center simultaneously participated in Thanh Hoa Province Football Festival, creating an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the localities. This event is not only a useful playground for exchange, but also an important step for the youth football teams to complete their formation, practice techniques and tactics, and prepare for the biggest football festival in Thanh Hoa starting in early June.

Sharing about the preparation work, Mr. Dao Duy Nam, Head of Nghi Son Town Football Team, said that the whole team is focusing on perfecting the force, with the goal of participating in the Thanh Hoa Newspaper Children's Football Tournament 2025 with the strongest squad.

"This year, we will send an U8 team and two U10 teams to participate. The entire coaching staff and the children are determined, aiming to touch the championship title for the first time," Mr. Nam affirmed.

The tournament will return to Quang Xuong after two seasons held in Thieu Hoa district.
