With the desire to mark Vietnamese fashion in major fashion capitals around the world , model Xuan Lan is implementing the project The New Generation of models. The project will select 30 models from different generations of Vietnamese models to participate in fashion shows at major catwalks such as Korea, Italy, France, America, etc. Model Xuan Lan said that this project will create more opportunities for young models to gain practical experience. The crew will create photo sets that meet high fashion standards, and at the same time organize fashion shows at famous landmarks around the world. The images of this journey will be captured and edited by the photography and filming crew into photo books and documentaries released on online platforms. Photographer Kien Can said that the photo series will be arranged and composed to express the spirit of connection between generations, creating a photo series with a strong fashion style, contributing to the mission of promoting fashion. Through this, Xuan Lan hopes to promote Vietnamese culture through patterns on fabrics and the themes of collections by Vietnamese designers. Xuan Lan revealed that at each stop, the organizers will invite foreign model guests to perform with Vietnamese models or participate as coaches. Nami Island and the capital Seoul of Korea will be the first destinations of The New Generation of models. The crew chose to perform the first show at the end of January 2024, which is also winter in Korea. The collection is expected to have 60 designs made by designer Tommy Tuong Le exclusively for the show in Korea. "Although there were many difficulties in the process of traveling, with the desire to bring special footage, never seen before in fashion shows in Vietnam, such as the scene of models walking in the falling snow, this motivates the crew to overcome all challenges" - Xuan Lan shared.

The female model affirmed that this project is a journey, not just 1 or 2 years. The project is not for commercial purposes but aims to help generations of models have the opportunity to assert themselves, honoring professional models. The show in Korea will not have an audience, the crew will focus entirely on capturing beautiful moments, valuable footage of the meaningful journey of the models. Coming to Korea, in addition to performing shows in the project The New Generation of models, the crew also combines with tourism experiences in Korea, promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea.
