As a "funding source", the Industrial Promotion Program in Lam Dong has shown practical effectiveness through activities supporting rural industrial establishments. In the past 2 years, the functional units of the local industry and trade sector have coordinated to implement 67 industrial promotion programs and projects with a total implementation cost of 11.5 billion VND. In 2025 alone, the whole province has 5 national industrial promotion projects (costing 3.7 billion VND) and 33 local industrial promotion projects and programs (costing 3 billion VND) implemented, aiming to support beneficiaries. In which, some contents are focused: improving management capacity, applying scientific and technological advances in production, especially automation technology, closed processes... Thanks to that, it has gradually helped production establishments optimize resources, significantly reduce input material costs, increase productivity and create more stable jobs for local workers.

Beneficiaries also expressed their excitement when receiving timely support capital from industrial promotion programs, thereby having more conditions to complete the production process. Or investing in advanced and modern machinery and equipment contributes to improving quality, increasing product competitiveness to expand the consumption market. In fact, many projects have been implemented to support the processing of key agricultural products, typical of the province today such as: tea, roasted and ground coffee, fruit juices, honey products, incense, agarwood, macadamia, seafood, dragon fruit...

According to Mr. Dang Trung Thai - Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade), the industrial promotion program implemented in recent times has had a positive impact on the development of industrial and handicraft production in the locality. Through the support of the program, many industrial production establishments have boldly invested in the fields of agricultural, forestry and fishery processing associated with the potential and advantages of the province. If in the past, the establishments mainly processed or produced raw materials, now they have gradually shifted to deep processing to increase the value of the products... Entering 2026, the Industrial Promotion program in Lam Dong will continue to support the application of advanced machinery and equipment, technology transfer, and application of science and technology in industrial and handicraft production. This support is extremely necessary, thereby promoting the role of "capital support" to encourage rural industrial establishments to boldly invest in production and business for sustainable development.

In preparation for the new year, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion plans to coordinate with 12 qualified rural industrial establishments to develop 5 projects under the National Industrial Promotion Program. Accordingly, the focus will be on supporting the application of advanced machinery and equipment in industrial and handicraft production for establishments with a budget of about 3.9 billion VND. At the same time, in 2026, it will continue to survey and propose a list of projects as a basis for submission to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for consideration and approval of additional projects... For local industrial promotion, the functional unit plans to implement 46 projects, of which 30 projects will support the application of advanced machinery and equipment in industrial and handicraft production for establishments with a budget of 4 billion VND. In addition, it also promotes voting for typical rural industrial products at commune, ward, special zone and provincial levels in 2026, organizes trade connections to expand consumption markets, and trains to improve management capacity for industrial establishments in Lam Dong...

In the implementation, the functional units also proactively advise and propose to accelerate the construction and completion of mechanisms and policies on industrial promotion activities to meet practical requirements. At the same time, strengthen coordination between departments, branches and localities to facilitate implementation, bringing efficiency to industrial promotion programs in the coming time.
