A special highlight at Hutech Techshow 2023 is the introduction of more than 300 project products of nearly 1,000 students in the fields of: Automotive engineering technology, control and automation engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, Robotics and artificial intelligence... Students in engineering and technology majors defend their graduation projects through an exhibition before a jury of lecturers and experts from businesses. Many student models have made a good impression on businesses such as: Metal bending machines, self-propelled vehicles for transporting goods in factories, and design calculations for 2-seat electric vehicles.

The project "Calculation and design of 2-seat electric vehicle" was highly appreciated at Hutech Techshow 2023.

Bringing to Hutech Techshow 2023 the model of "Self-driving car for transporting goods in factories", student Tran Viet Tuan Anh said that the advantages of the model are low investment cost, bringing high efficiency in businesses, especially in garment enterprises. According to Tuan Anh, the festival helped himself and other students to be more proud of the engineering and technology industry, and to learn about typical project products. More importantly, Tuan Anh had the opportunity to interview for recruitment and found a company that matched his orientation.

Sharing about the project "Calculation and design of a 2-seater electric vehicle", student Vu Trung Hieu said that to complete the project, Trung Hieu's team spent 5 months with two major stages: Completing the basic model and creating the car body shape, painting, and decoration. The special point of this project is focusing on the movement to create an environmentally friendly electric vehicle, convenient to move in urban areas and with a strange, unique design. Participating in the project exhibition at Hutech Techshow 2023, Trung Hieu experienced, applied the knowledge from school into practice and approached businesses to introduce the project, finding job opportunities in the right major.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh, Deputy Head of Organization and Human Resources Department of Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation said: “Our unit is in need of engineers majoring in electrical and electronic engineering and engineers who know about AI and Bigdata to participate in processing and analyzing production and business issues thanks to technology, contributing to increasing labor productivity and increasing operational efficiency. The graduation projects of students at the festival have invested a lot in automation, have new technology thinking, have IoT applications... these are great advantages that demonstrate the school's training quality has clearly improved".

The Hutech Techshow 2023 Festival has attracted more than 40 domestic and international corporations and enterprises to participate in introducing products and recruiting more than 3,500 internship and job positions from young, capable candidates for positions and jobs suitable for the engineering and technology industry. The festival is an activity to concretize the motto of closely connecting and building a sustainable relationship between schools and businesses, creating favorable conditions for students to access new, modern technologies and have good job opportunities.

Hutech Techshow 2023 is jointly organized by the Institute of Engineering and the Center for Enterprise Cooperation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, helping to closely combine training with scientific research and business cooperation. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, in recent years, the school has focused on a comprehensive training strategy of professional knowledge and vocational skills with a school-enterprise model to form high-quality human resources, closely linked to the needs of businesses and society. This festival is an opportunity for students and workers to have the opportunity to interact with new technologies and employers to demonstrate their abilities and find job opportunities in their majors.

From a business perspective, Mr. Pham Hoang Hai, Technical Director of EV1 Charging Equipment and Solutions Company, suggested: “Hutech Techshow is a very practical program, bringing many values to students and businesses. At Hutech Techshow 2023, the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association proposed to cooperate and accompany Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology to organize a channel to update information on the need for high-quality human resources in socio -economic fields, especially connecting human resource needs closely following the development orientation of Ho Chi Minh City and the southern localities. Accordingly, the collection of information on the need for high-quality human resources will be specific to each field, profession, skill requirements... and periodically organize connections between training institutions and units, organizations, and businesses with specific needs.

Talking to us, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hoai Quoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association, assessed that focusing on training with a focus on high-quality young human resources like the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology is the right direction for sustainability. Because, facing the new development trend, the city's industry must restructure towards modernity, high technology, high value-added segments, and increased labor productivity to quickly build a core industrial system to replace land- and labor-intensive industries.
