The first images of the film have just been released, revealing breathtaking action scenes, dramatic chases and mind games in the air. Accordingly, "Fight to the death in the air" is an action-drama film, scheduled to be released in September 2025, directed by Le Nhat Quang. The film is set almost entirely on an airplane.

As soon as the plane reached a stable altitude, the flight attendants began to leave their positions to serve passengers as usual. However, the moment the warning lights turned on and the announcement sounded became the signal for the breathtaking chain of events that were about to happen on the fateful flight.

Bringing the real-life plane hijacking in Vietnam to the movie

Throughout the first 30 seconds of the film's introduction, the main color tone is hot, interwoven with cold colors and thrilling action scenes. The tension comes not only from the breathtaking action situations, but also smolders in every expression and look of the passengers on the flight. Each character seems to carry a secret. From the pensive eyes, the bewildered expression, the knife hidden in the sleeve, to the meaningful handshake between the two passengers - all are like pieces of a puzzle suggesting a hijacking plot that is gradually taking shape, thereby increasing the suspenseful atmosphere...

The movie "Fighting in the Air" brings together many prominent names, from box office guarantees, veteran actors to young actors: Thai Hoa, Kaity Nguyen, Thanh Son, Vo Dien Gia Huy, Ma Ran Do, Loi Tran, Tram Anh, Xuan Van, Bao Dinh, Ray Nguyen,... Actor Thai Hoa will transform into a hijacker with many complex psychological developments. He "reunites" with Kaity Nguyen, but this time the two will be on two different fronts. Kaity Nguyen is one of the flight attendants. The fear in the actress's eyes is completely opposite to Thai Hoa's cold, cruel look. These images reveal a tense, suffocating battle of wits and strength to gain control of the plane in the air.

The production direction of CAND Cinema is also considered a guarantee for the authenticity of the film's historical material. Valuable aviation security documents are expected to contribute to recreating the story in a vivid and convincing way. This is not only a thrilling action story, but also an opportunity for the audience to open a little-known history book nearly half a century ago - when the Vietnamese aviation industry had to confront sophisticated hijacking plots, thereby creating a heroic death battle in the sky.
