On the afternoon of September 3, on N2 road passing through Duc Lap Ha, Duc Lap Thuong, Hoa Khanh Dong, Hoa Khanh Nam communes, Hau Nghia town, Duc Hoa district, the traffic volume on this route was quite high. However, there was no record of any local congestion. As the evening progressed, the traffic volume from Dong Thap Muoi district of Long An province and the western provinces via N2 road to Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province to work after the recent long holiday increased. The vehicles moved continuously, in groups. The weather in Duc Hoa district on the last day of the holiday was quite good, favorable for people to travel on the road.

According to the report of Duc Hoa district police, during the past 4 days of the holiday, the traffic volume, especially motorbikes passing through the area, increased on National Highway N2, Provincial Roads 824, 825, 830. The traffic police team proactively deployed anti-congestion plans, coordinated with PC08 to promptly clear the traffic, ensuring smooth traffic, preventing prolonged traffic congestion; no illegal racing gatherings; no traffic accidents occurred.
