After moving to live and work in village 8, after finding out that many households in the area grow lychee trees for stable income, Mr. Le Thien Nhan and his wife decided to start a business in this new land from fruit trees.
After learning from the experiences of lychee growing models and households in the area, the couple bought back 3 hectares of lychee that had been planted for 6 years and continued to take care of it. To develop lychee trees sustainably, Mr. Nhan learned techniques for caring for early-ripening lychees, using biological fertilizers, and installing a water-saving irrigation system.
Thanks to that, lychee output increases every year. In 2024, his family harvested 16 tons of fresh fruit, increasing to 24 tons in 2025, selling at 59,000 VND/kg in the garden, deducting investment costs, earning a profit of about 1 billion VND.

With advantages in land, soil and climate, Ea Knop commune promotes the development of fruit trees, mainly lychee and longan with a total area of over 1,200 hectares, of which more than 700 hectares have been harvested.

At the same time, encouraged members of cooperative groups, cooperatives and households growing lychee and longan in the area to plant and care for them according to VietGAP standards. Enterprises and traders from many provinces and cities across the country have come to the commune to sign contracts for the consumption of lychee and longan.
In livestock farming, with over 200 farms, mostly pig farms, Ea Knop commune focuses on propagating and mobilizing households to link up to develop livestock farming in a closed, sustainable direction, ensuring environmental criteria. Thereby, increasing the added value and competitiveness of products. For example, Quyet Thang Agricultural - Service Cooperative was established in 2022 with 17 members. The cooperative has developed chain cattle breeding, from providing high-quality crossbred cattle to committing to output, purchasing about 1,500 heads/year, supplying to markets inside and outside the province, creating jobs for 10 local workers with an income of 6 - 10 million VND/month.
