Organizing Mid-Autumn Festival for children in border areas

On October 5, the Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the People's Committee of Ia R've commune and Vietravel Company, Dak Lak province branch, to organize the program "Border - Happy 15th Festival" in 2025.

The program took place in a bustling atmosphere with performances, lion dances, folk games, and interactions with Hang and Cuoi; thereby bringing joy to children in the border commune of Ia R've and students in the program "Helping children go to school", the program "Adopted children of Border Guard Station", the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school".

Speaking at the program, Colonel Do Quang Tham, Political Commissar of Dak Lak Border Guard Command, emphasized: This is one of the meaningful activities to promote the role of all levels and sectors in caring for the future of the country; promptly share, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encourage teenagers and children to actively study, practice, strive to become good children, good students, and useful people for society.

At the program, 150 gifts (each worth 150,000 VND) were given to students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies in the border commune of Ia R've.

Previously, on the evening of October 4, Bo Heng Border Guard Station coordinated with Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Center to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival program for children in Tri village (Buon Don border commune).

At the program, the units organized many meaningful activities such as: cultural exchange, quizzes with prizes, Mid-Autumn Festival party and gave 600 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to teenagers and children in the village.
