Fati cannot leave Barcelona yet. |
Mundo Deportivo reported that Monaco were keen to sign Fati before the end of the 2024/25 season. However, negotiations between the two clubs have hit a snag after Barcelona rejected Monaco's initial offer. The La Liga club believes Monaco's asking price is not convincing enough.
Barcelona initially planned to sell Fati outright, but wanted to retain control of the player through a release clause in his contract. However, Monaco did not intend to buy him outright and only wanted to loan him. Over the past week, the two clubs have not found common ground.
