According to CNN , Benfica has reached a personal agreement with Felix. The team will now negotiate with Chelsea over the transfer fee. The Blues are said to have received a €25 million offer to buy 65% of Felix's ownership from Benfica.
Felix has rejected offers from Flamengo and Porto, preferring to return to his former club Benfica. The Portuguese striker is under contract with Chelsea until 2031. But after an unsuccessful 2024/25 season on loan at AC Milan, Felix's future is uncertain.
Since Chelsea paid £45m to sign Felix from Atletico Madrid in 2023, Felix has scored just once in 12 appearances. This performance has failed to meet the expectations of fans and the club's board, causing Felix to lose his place in coach Enzo Maresca's squad.
Chelsea's aggressive summer transfer spree has further diminished Felix's chances of staying at Stamford Bridge, having signed Liam Delap for £30m, while also bringing in Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens for a combined fee of over £100m.
