They think that Attrakt's announcement that Fifty Fifty will release a second mini album is disrespectful to the old members. Because Fifty Fifty has now almost completely "changed blood", with only Keena left.

On the other hand, the first hearing for the compensation lawsuit between the three former members of Fifty Fifty and the company Attrakt has been scheduled for August 29. Fans accused Attrakt of intentionally releasing a new song after only 1 day to take advantage of the promotional opportunity from the lawsuit.

In addition, some other opinions say that the new version of Fifty Fifty is learning and plagiarizing from many other famous music groups and companies.

They pointed out that the song title “Starry Night” is similar to the hit song by the group MAMAMOO.

However, in addition to fans of the old members, many Korean audiences support the return of the new version of Fifty Fifty.

Previously, the YouTube videos covering Fifty Fifty's songs "We Don't Talk Anymore" (Charlie Puth) and "Secondary Option" (Leejean) received a warm response. Keena and the new members were praised for their voices and vocal skills.

Some members of the new group lineup are also highly regarded for their looks.

The first generation of Fifty Fifty, including Keena, Aran, Saena, and Sio, debuted in November 2022. The group's single "Cupid" released in February 2023 set a series of impressive records, even breaking the record of the famous girl group Blackpink.

Fifty Fifty climbed to number 17 and stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for 25 consecutive weeks, becoming the first K-pop girl group to do so.

In June 2023, the four members of Fifty Fifty unexpectedly filed a request to terminate their contract with the management company Attrakt, citing reasons such as the company not paying proper attention to their health and schedule; not being paid since their debut. However, the lawsuit was dismissed by the court due to insufficient evidence.

In October 2023, Attrakt announced the termination of exclusive contracts with Sio, Aran, and Saena. The company then filed a lawsuit demanding 13 billion won in damages against these three members and their parents.

Sio, Aran, and Saena face a huge challenge when they are considered "traitors" by the majority of the Korean public.
