That is comrade Tran Tien Duy, a soldier of Company 5, Battalion 5, Regiment 165, Division 312 (12th Corps). His story moved us. Before the day of preparing to go to the South to carry out the task of practicing for the parade, Duy suddenly received the news: His father passed away due to a serious illness. Everything happened so suddenly, making the young soldier shocked and extremely sad. Duy is the eldest son in a family of 4 siblings, in Truong Thi ward, Nam Dinh city, Nam Dinh province. Duy's parents were divorced, he lived with his father. Now his father suddenly passed away, making Duy shocked and shocked.

Comrade Tran Tien Duy shared: “As a soldier, I cannot let my personal pain affect the sacred and noble mission of the unit and my comrades. Therefore, I voluntarily arranged my personal affairs and continued to complete the mission of participating in the parade with my comrades.”

With Lieutenant Vu Thi Tam, staff of the Propaganda Department, Political Department (12th Army Corps), we admire her example of overcoming difficulties, harmoniously arranging public and private work, and determined to complete the great task. Comrade Tam has a husband who is also a soldier and a young child, so in the process of carrying out the task of participating in the parade, she encountered many difficulties.

The female soldier shared: “When I received the assignment, my husband was studying at the Army Academy (Da Lat, Lam Dong). The feeling at that time was a mixture of honor and pride, nervousness and anxiety. I was worried because the child was still young, my husband was studying far away, and I had to concentrate on the assignment. However, with the care of both my paternal and maternal families and my husband always accompanying and encouraging me, along with the encouragement of the unit commander, I felt secure in carrying out the assignment. I always realized that this was an honor and pride not only for me but also for my whole family.”

As if understanding her mother's feelings, her young son's innocent but touching words of encouragement gave Vu Thi Tam the strength to overcome all difficulties, confidently and firmly: "I love Uncle Ho, I love Vietnam! When I grow up, I will become a soldier following my parents' example"...
