According to statistics reported by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, in the first six months of this year, nearly 31,500 flights of Vietnamese airlines were delayed.

Specifically, in the past six months, Vietnam Airlines , Vietjet, Pacific Airlines, Vasco, Bamboo Airlines, and Vietravel Airlines operated a total of 129,527 flights, of which 98,106 were on-time, accounting for 75.7%.

In the first 6 months of the year, the number of delayed flights was 31,421, accounting for 24.3%; there were 491 canceled flights, accounting for 0.4%.

According to a representative of the Civil Aviation Authority, the two main reasons for flight delays in the first six months of this year were late arrival of aircraft (60.4% of all flights were "delayed") and the airlines (27.7%). The remaining reasons were weather, management, flight operations, airport equipment and services, and other reasons.
