According to Decision No. 144 dated December 3, 1983 of the Council of Ministers on the demarcation of Tam Ky district in Quang Nam - Da Nang province, Truong Xuan ward was separated from Tam Ngoc commune to form a new ward and returned to the name Truong Xuan as the previous village name.
Previously, Truong Xuan was a purely agricultural ward with an area of 100 hectares of unrenovated fields and 234 hectares of infertile land, no irrigation system, and very low productivity. Up to now, the locality has focused on implementing the Urban Agricultural Economic Development Project for the period 2021 - 2026, many garden economic models, household economies with high income, and specialized agricultural areas have been gradually formed.
There are 30 enterprises and 400 individual production and business households in the ward. The average annual budget revenue increase is 20%, reaching more than 61 billion VND in 3 years (2020 - 2022). By the end of 2023, the poverty rate will be 0.43%, and the near-poor rate will be 0.38%. The ward will be recognized as meeting urban civilization standards in 2023.
On this occasion, Truong Xuan ward presented 10 gifts to policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances in the area.
