Besides famous landscapes such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Bai But, Ban Co Peak..., Son Tra Peninsula (Da Nang City) still has pristine destinations with great tourism potential, one of which is Ghenh Bang.
To get to Ghenh Bang, from the center of Da Nang , visitors can move to Son Tra peninsula via Hoang Sa street. Travel about 15 minutes by motorbike and you will see the sign down to Ghenh Bang on the right. From here, visitors can park their motorbikes and walk down.
However, the walking distance from Son Tra peninsula to Bang rapids passes through a forest path about 1km long with many steep slopes and dense trees. If you are not careful or do not have experience in the forest, it is very easy to slip or get lost in this forest.
Visitors should wear comfortable clothes, limit carrying too many belongings, women should not wear high heels or skirts... to make it easier to move around.
After going through the steep forest road, the Bang rapids appear before the eyes of tourists as a "reward" for the effort of moving.
This place has a wild beauty with large and small rocks and clear sea water. Especially the 3-4m high vertical cliffs form a natural gate to welcome the waves.
The wild beauty of Ghenh Bang attracts adventurous and exploratory tourists. The Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches calls on the community to join hands to protect the tourism environment at Ghenh Bang in particular and Son Tra Peninsula in general, such as not littering, collecting trash after leaving... with the motto "For a green-clean-beautiful environment".
