Despite domestic fluctuations, the Vietnamese coffee industry still recorded positive results in the first four months of 2025. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, coffee export turnover reached 3.8 billion USD, up 52% over the same period last year. The growth momentum mainly came from a sharp increase in average export prices.
Currently, the average export price of coffee is nearly 5,700 USD/ton, up 67.5% compared to the same period last year and the highest level in many years. This result clearly reflects the effort to improve product quality, and at the same time shows that the Vietnamese coffee brand is increasingly recognized internationally.

Previously, on May 8, the US also announced the first trade agreement with the UK since imposing import tariffs on a series of economies.
US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the general 10% tariff would remain in place for countries with a balanced trade balance with the US, while those with surpluses would face higher tariffs.
