Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, July 22, in the Central Highlands region remained unchanged, fluctuating between 93,500 - 94,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Lam Dong province are purchasing coffee at 94,000 VND/kg. No change compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Lak province are at VND93,800/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged from yesterday and were traded at VND93,800/kg.
In Lam Dong province, in Ward 1, Bao Loc, Hoa Ninh, Duc Trong, and Dinh Van Lam Ha communes, coffee prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday at VND93,500/kg.

Regarding export activities, in the first half of July 2025, Vietnamese enterprises exported about 42,400 tons of green coffee, reaching a value of 208 million USD. The average export price of Robusta coffee during this period was 4,813 USD/ton, and Arabica was 6,473 USD/ton.
The above figures show that coffee exports are entering the final stage of the season, with output and value falling significantly compared to previous months. This further increases the level of unpredictability for the coffee market in the coming time.
Another factor affecting the market is the recent passage by the US House of Representatives of a bill establishing a legal framework for USD-linked cryptocurrencies (stablecoins). According to expert Nguyen Quang Binh, this could attract capital to the virtual currency market, causing commodity exchanges to slow down.
Forecasting for this week, Mr. Binh said that prices may increase slightly at the beginning of the week due to the effect of shipping goods from Brazil to the US. However, towards the end of the week, prices may weaken due to the impact of the strong USD and inventory pressure in the market.
World coffee prices today
On the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures for September 2025 delivery closed the trading session on July 22 at $3,221/ton, down sharply by 3.79% ($127/ton) from the previous session. The November 2025 futures contract fell by 3.58% ($119/ton) to $3,203/ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in September 2025 decreased by 3.41% (10.35 US cents/pound) to 293.25 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in November 2025 decreased by 3.36% (9.95 US cents/pound) to 286 US cents/pound.
Compared to the beginning of last week, coffee prices this week have increased sharply with a triple-digit increase. However, according to many experts, whether this upward trend will continue or not is still very difficult to predict, because the market is quite complicated.
Expert Nguyen Quang Binh said that the US's reciprocal tax policies are causing a lot of instability in the coffee market. This is a favorable environment for the sharks on the floor to take advantage of the opportunity to manipulate prices, causing the market to fluctuate unpredictably.
Although the US has set August 1 as the official date for the imposition of reciprocal tariffs, there is still the possibility of a delay. In addition, some countries may take retaliatory measures, making global coffee trade flows unpredictable.
