Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, June 8, 2025, in the Central Highlands region decreased sharply over the weekend compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 113,500 - 114,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 114,000 VND/kg. A sharp decrease of 1,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Lak province are at 114,000 VND/kg, down 1,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by VND1,800/kg and were traded at VND113,800/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices decreased by VND1,500/kg and reached VND113,500/kg.

Global coffee prices fell late in the session, weighed down by the progress of the harvest in Brazil and strong exports from Vietnam. Specifically, Arabica coffee prices fell from a two-week high after Safras & Mercado reported that Brazil had harvested 28% of its 2025–2026 coffee crop as of June 4. This is higher than the five-year average of 27% for the same period, indicating that the harvest in the world's largest coffee producer is progressing very well.
Similarly, robusta coffee also plummeted after data from the Vietnam Customs Department showed that coffee exports in May reached 148,762 tons, up 60.5% compared to the same period last year. However, year-to-date exports still decreased slightly by 1.8% to 823,908 tons.
In the long term, the outlook for coffee consumption remains positive. According to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), rapid urbanization, the growth of coffee shop chains and the growing taste of young people for coffee drinks are driving a significant increase in domestic consumption demand.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market fell sharply on two exchanges:
Robusta Coffee (London):
Delivery in July 2025: Down 153 USD/ton, to 4,440 USD/ton.
Delivery September 2025: Down 106 USD/ton, to 4,339 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
July 2025 delivery: Down 1.7 cents/lb, to 358.05 cents/lb.
September 2025 delivery: Down 1.75 cents/lb, to 355.45 cents/lb.
Still, there are some factors that are supporting the market. One of them is concern about adverse weather conditions in Brazil. According to the meteorological agency Somar Meteorologia, Minas Gerais, the country’s largest arabica growing region, had no rain in the week ending May 31, which could affect crop yields.
In addition, the strengthening of the Brazilian Real to a seven-and-a-half-month high against the USD also reduced the selling momentum of Brazilian producers, thereby partly helping to limit the decline in prices.
In addition, the Brazilian government released preliminary data showing that green coffee exports in May reached only 2.84 million bags, down 30.15% compared to the same period last year.
