
At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam announced the decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism on including Quang noodles (Quang Nam province) in the list of national intangible cultural heritage in the field of folk knowledge.
Receiving this decision, in addition to the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, there were also representatives of 4 households in Hoi An City, Dien Ban Town, Duy Xuyen District, and Nui Thanh District, which are typical households in the profession of making Quang noodles.

The craft of making Quang noodles in Quang Nam province brings together the unique culinary values of Quang. Quang noodles follow the footsteps of migrants on their journey to the open South, willing to accept any ingredients on the way to absorb, adapt, and create diversity and richness in culinary flavors.
This is a dish with many variations, highlighting the characteristics of folk culinary culture; a rare dish that can "please" all types of guests; a rustic dish but contains the historical formation process and folk knowledge system of Quang Nam land.

On this occasion, representatives of the Department of Cultural Heritage and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) also presented the Prime Minister's decision on recognizing 4 national treasures in Quang Nam province, including: Collection of gold jewelry and agate artifacts in the shape of animals in Lai Nghi burial site (preserved at the Quang Nam Museum's artifact warehouse) and 2 artifacts Dong Son bronze drum and Dong Son bronze jar owned by Mr. Luong Hoang Long (residing in Cam Pho ward, Hoi An city).
