Specifically, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Hai Phong and Hung Yen all decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently at 64,000 VND/kg. Phu Tho also decreased by 1,000 VND to 63,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, localities such as Cao Bang , Lang Son, Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Son La maintained the price of 62,000 VND/kg. Quang Ninh and Lao Cai still purchased at 63,000 VND/kg. Ninh Binh remained unchanged at 64,000 VND/kg.

African swine fever rages, Phu Tho suffers heavy losses
According to the Agriculture and Environment newspaper, up to now, African swine fever has spread to more than 103 communes in Phu Tho province, 3,400 households have pigs infected with the disease, and over 2,100 tons of pigs have been destroyed.
According to the report of the Steering Committee for African Swine Fever Prevention and Control in Phu Tho province, after merging Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh provinces, Phu Tho province has the second largest pig and poultry herd in the country.
Specifically, the total pig herd of Phu Tho province is currently about 2 million, the poultry herd is 36.4 million, the buffalo herd is about 415,000, and the dairy cow herd is about 18,600. The output of fresh meat for slaughter in Phu Tho province is about 490,000 tons/year, of which the output of fresh pork accounts for nearly 70%, the output of fresh milk is over 60,000 tons, and the output of poultry eggs is 1.4 billion eggs/year.
