Pig price today in the North
In the North, pig prices did not record any fluctuations compared to yesterday.
Specifically, the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Son La and Hung Yen simultaneously purchased live pigs at 68,000 VND/kg.
Hai Phong alone recorded the highest price in the region, reaching 69,000 VND/kg.
The price of live pigs in the Northern region is currently fluctuating at 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
Pig price today in the Central Highlands region
Pig prices in the Central Highlands region continued to be stable today, with no new adjustments recorded.
Accordingly, live pigs from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang , Quang Ngai and Dak Lak provinces are purchased by traders at 67,000 VND/kg.
The lowest price in the region is 65,000 VND/kg recorded in Gia Lai. Meanwhile, Khanh Hoa buys at 68,000 VND/kg, while live pigs in Lam Dong have the highest price of 69,000 VND/kg.
Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 65,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
Pig price today in the Southern region
In the South, the live pig market recorded a slight downward trend in some localities.
Specifically, the price of live pigs in Dong Nai, Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City all decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently being purchased at 69,000 VND/kg.
Tay Ninh and Can Tho localities maintained the price at 69,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Dong Thap, An Giang and Vinh Long remained at 68,000 VND/kg, unchanged from the previous day.
In general, the price of live pigs today (July 8) remained stable in most localities across the country, only decreasing slightly by 1,000 VND/kg in three southern provinces. The current price ranges from 65,000 VND/kg to 69,000 VND/kg.
