Local authorities have set up warning ropes, blockades, and temporarily stopped all vehicles from passing through. Tona Pass (bordering Ia Sao - Phu Tuc communes) and Quy Duc Bridge connecting Ayun Pa with Ia Pa were also deeply flooded, causing traffic disruption on the Gia Lai - Dak Lak route.
