According to the Border Guard agency at some border gates in Lang Son province, during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, due to the main demand for tourism and the need for work, trade, etc., the number of people entering and exiting the country increased compared to normal days, with passengers mainly being Vietnamese and Chinese.

At Huu Nghi International Border Gate, immigration procedures are handled continuously without days off.

In response to the needs of the people, the Huu Nghi International Border Gate Border Guard Station has been implementing many solutions. In addition to arranging and assigning officers to work at checkpoints, handling procedures and operating related activities, the reform of administrative procedures and the application of information technology in the immigration control process are showing clear effectiveness in reducing waiting time for passengers.

On average, every day, the authorities at Huu Nghi International Border Gate carry out immigration clearance procedures for about 5,000 - 7,000 people with passports and travel documents. Especially during long holidays or the National Day holiday on September 2, the number of people entering and exiting through here often increases dramatically due to the high demand for border tourism.

In addition to Huu Nghi International Border Gate, Chi Ma Border Gate and Tan Thanh Border Gate also handle entry and exit procedures for passengers traveling with travel documents and passports.

Procedures are quickly resolved by border guards at most border gates, which have applied information technology, digitized management software and operated modern machinery in control.
