Total product value does not reach target

According to data from the Provincial People's Committee, the total value of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province from the beginning of the year to date is estimated at VND 38,376 billion, an increase of 3.92% over the same period in 2022, equal to 60.91% of the 2023 plan.

Specifically, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector reached VND10,903 billion (up 4.41% over the same period, equivalent to 49% of the plan); industry - construction reached VND7,085 billion (up 4.08%, equivalent to 65% of the plan); the service sector reached VND18,618 billion (up 3.51%, equal to 68.5% of the plan).

The GRDP index in the first 9 months of 2023 did not meet the province's growth scenario (VND 39,965 billion, equal to 63.44% of the annual plan, up 8.35% over the same period in 2022).

The reason for the low growth is that the production and business activities of people and enterprises are still facing many difficulties due to the impact of the world economic and political situation; the implementation of some non-budget projects has not reached the planned progress...
