Total product value did not reach the target

According to data from the Provincial People's Committee, the total value of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province from the beginning of the year to now is estimated at 38,376 billion VND, an increase of 3.92% over the same period in 2022, equal to 60.91% of the 2023 plan.

Specifically, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector reached VND10,903 billion (up 4.41% over the same period, equivalent to 49% of the plan); industry - construction VND7,085 billion (up 4.08%, equivalent to 65% of the plan); service sector reached VND18,618 billion (up 3.51%, equal to 68.5% of the plan).

The GRDP index in the first 9 months of 2023 did not meet the province's growth scenario (VND 39,965 billion, equal to 63.44% of the yearly plan, up 8.35% over the same period in 2022).

The reason for the low growth is that the production and business activities of people and enterprises are still facing many difficulties due to the impact of the world economic and political situation; the implementation of a number of off-budget projects has not reached the planned progress...
