Gold price today (afternoon of July 7) recorded a slight decrease in domestic gold price.
Accordingly, SJC, DOJI Hanoi and DOJI Ho Chi Minh City are listing gold prices around 118.5 million VND/tael for buying; 120.5 million VND/tael for selling (down 400,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to the previous closing price).

PNJ Hanoi and PNJ Ho Chi Minh City are listing the price of gold rings at around 114.2 million VND/tael for buying; 116.9 million VND/tael for selling (down 600 thousand VND/tael for buying; 500 thousand VND/tael for selling).
In the world , the gold price is listed by Kitco around the threshold of 3,311 USD/ounce, continuing to record a decline in gold. Gold has lost the important support level of 3,250 USD/ounce.
According to a recent report published by HSBC, investors with assets of $100,000 or more are shifting their money to alternative assets, especially gold. In the context of global economic uncertainty, gold continues to prove itself as an attractive safe haven asset. Mr. Willem Sels, Global Investment Director of HSBC, commented: “Diversification is an effective way to deal with uncertainty, and the increase in investment in alternative assets is a testament to the fact that wealthy investors are taking advantage of the opportunity to access private markets more easily.”
HSBC forecasts a wide price range in the second half of 2025, ranging from $3,100 to $3,600 per ounce. Gold prices are estimated to reach $3,175 per ounce by the end of 2025, while the forecast for the end of 2026 is $3,025 per ounce. This shows that despite the overall upward trend, the gold market still faces challenges due to global political, monetary and geopolitical factors.
