Business with sustainable development for many years
This is the third consecutive year that PNJ has been included in this ranking, continuing to affirm its pioneering role in sustainable development practices associated with the ESG pillars: Environment (E), Society (S) and Governance (G).
The Top 50 CSA rankings, published by Nhip Cau Dau Tu magazine, are for businesses that actively contribute to the country’s sustainable development goals. With a criteria system consisting of 14 categories, the award requires businesses to demonstrate their real impact on the environment, community and operational capacity.

PNJ representative shared: “At PNJ, sustainable development is not only a choice but also a corporate responsibility in the new era. We orient ESG as a core strategic platform, thereby building a business ecosystem that creates multi-dimensional value for all stakeholders. PNJ is committed to continuous innovation in creating a sustainable future, where economic prosperity goes hand in hand with environmental protection and social progress.”
In the environmental pillar (E), PNJ has implemented a series of synchronous solutions to minimize ecological impacts throughout the value chain. In 2024, the company will conduct a greenhouse gas inventory for the entire system of more than 400 stores, two factories and offices nationwide, thereby clearly identifying the main emission sources and developing effective reduction strategies.
Thanks to the application of new technology and investment in modern control systems, greenhouse gas emissions at the factory have been reduced from 1.21 tonnes of CO2 equivalent to 1.14 tonnes per 1,000 products. In the office and retail areas, emissions per square meter have also been reduced from 0.13 to 0.12 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.

At the same time, PNJ is promoting the implementation of the "green workspace" model with more than 3,000 trees, practicing paperless offices and applying clean fuels such as hydrogen to equipment operations.
The company also optimizes the use of raw materials, deploys energy measurement and control systems, and applies advanced oxidation wastewater treatment technology and water reuse to reduce environmental pollution.
With the social pillar (S), PNJ has a 37-year history of closely accompanying local authorities to create many outstanding and typical CSR activities, contributing to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged groups such as Happy Young Family, 0-dong Mini Supermarket, Companionship for Childbirth, Raising awareness of autism in Vietnamese children...

In early 2025, PNJ initiated a CSR project called Cinderella's Dream (Photo: Viet Hung).
The year 2024 marks an important turning point when PNJ reorients its CSR strategy according to the “Living Beautifully” platform, focusing on spreading the values of love and responsibility to each individual, family and community. This strategy helps PNJ’s community activities become systematic, effective and creates a solid foundation for positive, sustainable changes in the future.
Typically, in 2025, PNJ initiated the Cinderella Dream project to help girls discover their hidden beauty, realize their good values and confidently nurture their dreams.
At the same time, PNJ continues to invest in people through a diverse, equitable and inclusive (DE&I) working environment for nearly 9,000 employees nationwide. Over the past year, the company has expanded internal training programs, developed young leaders and enhanced physical and mental health care for employees.
Consistent with sustainable development strategy
Since its inception, PNJ has pursued the sustainable development philosophy of “putting customer interests and social interests into corporate interests”. An important milestone in this journey is the establishment of the ESG Committee under the Board of Directors in 2022, making ESG a long-term development strategy.
Since then, ESG has been deeply integrated into PNJ's entire operational chain. PNJ's Board of Directors has identified three core factors that explain why ESG is an irreversible direction: increasing demands from consumers and investors for transparency and responsibility; the obligation to protect the environment and ecosystem for future generations; the foundation for creating a sustainable competitive advantage in the long term.

Thanks to that, PNJ has been continuously honored at many prestigious domestic and international awards: JWA, Fortune 500, 9 consecutive years in the top 10 sustainable enterprises (CSI); Green Enterprise of Ho Chi Minh City 2024,...
Regarding business results, PNJ continues to maintain sustainable growth momentum in 2024, with net revenue reaching VND 37,823 billion and profit after tax reaching VND 2,115 billion, demonstrating operational efficiency, flexible adaptability as well as the financial foundation of the enterprise.
